UCTV (myUCTV.com) climbing’s leading online video community that allows people to discover, watch and share originally created videos, today introduced a redesigned website. The redesigned website features a flash-based player and new video sharing modules, as well as an enhanced My Channel where users can create their own personal climbing video experience.

Alongside UCTV regulars like Clip of the Week and Most Popular videos, the new website includes UCTV Shows, Partner TV Channels, the latest videos from users and an easier interface to upload, comment, rate and tag videos.

In addition, the newly designed website features an enhanced Video Map widget that allows users to embed a link to their videos on a Google map. The new Video Map widget appears on every page making it easier for users to get direct access to videos that relate to a particular climbing area.

The enhancements to the UCTV website are free and easy to use, giving UCTV users yet another way to engage the world of video and actively participate in the UCTV community wherever they are, whenever they want.

The UCTV website was first tested in August on a group of users selected at random and was enhanced based upon feedback. UCTV users who are logged-out and visitors without accounts will not have access to the My Channel personalized video channel.
